Espresso Evergreen on the Move

We did it! We finally settled on the type of vehicle to use for the basis of Espresso Evergreen’s very first coffee truck! Yes, you heard correctly – Espresso Evergreen will soon be bringing coffee to you. When I say coffee, what I really mean is just about everything that is currently being served at the stationary drive-thru coffee shop but with a twist: paleo pastries, functional coffees, and a plethora of new and unique flavors to get your taste buds dancing.  

It has been an interesting journey. It all began with a question: how can we share our amazing products with more people and expand our coffee community? Then it instantly hit us, go mobile. Owners, Tony and Kristi, loved the idea and immediately sprang into action.

Our initial thought was to open a coffee cart – you know the kind you literally roll into place, but it proved to have too many limitations. So we decided to go bigger. After much consideration (and test driving) we realized the sweet spot of coffee trucks is a Sprinter van.

Settling on the vehicle was just the beginning. Turns out, someone has to build it!  Finding the right food truck outfitter is no easy task, believe me, but we eventually cleared that hurdle too. With the outfitter, we then embarked on designing the interior to fit everything we need to create an efficient work-line. This involved orchestrating everything from sourcing appliances to calculating storage needs. Luckily, we’re used to working in a small space so we had a pretty good grip on the concept.

With all the design elements decided, we are happy to report that the Espresso Evergreen coffee truck is being outfitted at this very moment and should be completed mid-April! The list of local venues where we intend to sling coffee is growing, so keep your eye out for the debut of Espresso Evergreen’s coffee truck!
